We have been working extremely hard to deter the large amount of spam that our servers process away from your inbox. Recently, due to the hoildays we suspect, there has been an increasing amount of spam that is arriving. A couple of our customers have spoke to us about this and we are making some network changes to 'turn up the heat' so to speak on incoming spam.
The tool which filters for incoming spam is going to be re-configured to flag email at a lower setting. In our tests and research this should stop a higher percentage of spam reaching your inbox. The spam filter we use rates email on a point scale. It looks for key words and other phrases in the email as well as checks certain known spam databases. Currently the setting is set to 6. In a few hours, we are going to reduce this to 3. This means that any email message that has a rating of a 3 or higher, will be auto flagged as spam email.
In our tests, your normal email should not be affected. However, if you receive certain newsletters, there is a small chance it may get flagged as "{Spam?}" in the subject. If you find emails this happens to, please email "support@zorka.com" and we will modify the filter to not alter email from that user.
If you have setup your email client (Mail.App, Outlook, etc) to filter on the subect of "{Spam?}", be sure to check the folder where this email is being filtered to to make sure there are no false positives being flagged.
